Who is Hunter Photography?
Welcome, friends!
I’m Meg—a South Jersey–based photographer who’s been capturing stories and creating memories for the past ten years. My love for photography started back in high school and continued into college at Rowan University, where I studied Digital Photography and Business. What began as a passion quickly grew into a career, and I feel so grateful that I get to do this work full time.
Along the way, I’ve lived in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and South Carolina. Each place has shaped the way I see the world and inspired the way I photograph people, stories, and moments. From portraits and weddings to lifestyle sessions and even freelance projects with small businesses, retreat centers, and Christian camps, my camera has given me the privilege of connecting with so many incredible people and missions.
For me, photography is more than just taking pictures—it’s about preserving memories that deserve to be cherished and shared for years to come. I believe a photo has the power to spark joy every time you look back at it, and that’s the heartbeat behind everything I do.
So why start a blog? Because I want to share more than just the final images. I want to pull back the curtain and invite you into the stories, the lessons, the travels, and the behind-the-scenes of what it looks like to live a creative life. My hope is that this space becomes not only a portfolio of moments I’ve captured but also a journal of the journey—both mine and yours.
Thanks for being here. I can’t wait to share, connect, and create something beautiful together.
